I agree with both of you. That one chain of events controlled by BP/Halliburton which finally ended as a giant mess of crude oil and seawater was, of course, the fault of those corporations. But let's not be narrow-minded. If we do consider the world's thirst for oil we have a rather peculiar situation where corporations, seeing the demand for a product they can sell successfully to make a profit, take greater risks to obtain it - in this case the oil.
As you can see, there is a greater picture to consider whenever something happens that opens the eyes of the public to the world of global economy and environmental neglect. So let's not just look at the incident itself, but rather at the deeper cause of the situation we're in.
Enough said. Now go f*cking think about this, people. And sell you f*cking cars :) Cheers!
